Gold Coast Golf Club

Recently, we helped the Gold Coast Golf Club create a video to announce the winners of their Golf Classic and prize draw. It was a fun and rewarding project, focusing on making the announcements feel special for the winners and exciting for viewers.

South East Family Support Network

Recently, we had the privilege of collaborating with the South East Family Support Network Ireland. In this blog post, we’ll take you behind the scenes of this project, highlighting the importance of the work done by the South East Family Support Network.

The Mission of the South East Family Support Network Ireland:

The South East Family Support Network Ireland is a beacon of support for families facing various challenges. Their mission revolves around providing assistance, guidance, and a sense of community to those navigating the complexities of family life. As they embarked on a journey to share the stories of resilience, hope, and strength within their network, they approached Ronmara to document these narratives through interviews.

Capturing the Essence:

The interviews covered a diverse range of experiences, from overcoming adversity to celebrating triumphs, and everything in between. Our cinematographers worked diligently to capture the raw emotions and nuances of each story. We used a combination of intimate close-ups and wide shots to convey both the personal struggles and the collective strength within the South East Family Support Network.

Filming interviews for the South East Family Support Network Ireland was not just a project for us; it was a meaningful journey of collaboration and storytelling. At Ronmara, we are honored to be part of initiatives that make a difference, and we look forward to continuing our mission of bringing impactful stories to the forefront through the lens of our cameras.

Sports Analysis in GAA

In the world of sports, where milliseconds can separate victory from defeat, every piece of information counts. Analysing game data has become a cornerstone for teams striving to stay competitive and reach new heights. When it comes to GAA sports analysis has emerged as a game-changer.

Sports analysis is not a new concept. Coaches and teams have been breaking down game footage and statistics for decades. However, with advances in technology and data collection methods, sports analysis has reached a new level of precision and sophistication.

The Key Elements of Sports Analysis:

  • Video Analysis: High-quality video footage of games is the foundation of sports analysis. Every aspect of the game, from individual player movements to team strategies, can be studied in detail. This in-depth review helps teams identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
  • Player Performance Metrics: Analysis goes beyond the scorecard. It delves into player performance metrics. This data is invaluable for player fitness and conditioning.
  • Game Strategy: Analysing patterns and strategies used by opponents is crucial in game preparation. Sports analysis allows teams to study their competitors’ tactics and develop counter-strategies.

At Rónmara, we believe in the power of innovation. We understand that in today’s highly competitive sporting world, embracing cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights is not an option; it’s a necessity. This commitment to progress is especially true when it comes to women’s sports, particularly LGFA (Ladies Gaelic Football Association). For the past year, Rónmara has been providing sports analysis for an LGFA club in the Comeragh area, it has been an opportunity to discover a facet of media production that feels new and interesting. Working within a community and meeting the women that are so devoted to their sport is a deeply rewarding experience.

Bend & Blend

Early morning in Kilmacthomas, as the sun began to cast its golden rays over the picturesque landscape, a tranquil event unfolded beneath the arches of an old train viaduct. Thankfully the bad weather only a day beforehand was nothing more than a past worry. Bend & Blend, a refreshing yoga morning, was organized as part of the Comeraghs Wild Festival, inviting yoga enthusiasts and nature lovers alike to find inner peace amidst the stunning surroundings. Led by the talented yoga teacher, Ginni Giani, this event proved to be a perfect blend of mindfulness, movement, and nourishment.

One of the highlights of Bend & Blend was the harmony between the yoga practice and the surrounding natural beauty. As participants stretched their bodies and focused their minds, they couldn’t help but feel a profound connection with the earth beneath them and the expansive sky above. The peaceful ambiance of the park, nestled in the embrace of Kilmacthomas’ scenic charm, created the perfect atmosphere for a truly immersive yoga experience.

After the invigorating yoga session, the group gathered their mats and made their way to a nearby café known as Signal Box Coffee. Here, they indulged in deliciously vibrant smoothie bowls and sipped on fragrant cups of coffee. The open aired and breezy atmosphere of the café provided the ideal setting for participants to connect, share stories, and bask in the post-yoga glow. The combination of nourishing food and warm conversation further enhanced the sense of community fostered throughout the event.

Bend & Blend, was an enchanting experience that seamlessly fused movement, nature, and community. Underneath the arches of the old train viaduct, participants found solace in the ancient structure’s shadow, while their bodies and minds discovered newfound strength and tranquility. This event, nestled within the Comeraghs Wild Festival, beautifully showcased the serene beauty of Kilmacthomas, offering a unique opportunity to connect with both oneself and the surrounding natural wonders. As the Bend & Blend participants departed, their hearts filled with gratitude and their spirits uplifted, they carried the essence of this magical morning with them, ready to embrace the serenity found in their everyday lives.

Eamo & Rò

Situated on the River Mahon in Waterford is a small town named Coill Mhic Thomáisín, or Kilmacthomas if you are so anglo-inclined. Kilmacthomas, despite its modest size, packs a punch when it comes to character and charm. With a rich history dating back centuries, this town has tales to tell and secrets to unveil. One of the most captivating aspects of Kilmacthomas is its collection of heritage sights and time worn buildings such as the Union Workhouse and an old Irish railway viaduct which stretches over the town. However, I am not here to gush about the locale, I am here to write about a delightful café named Eamo & Rò.

As part of the Comeragh’s Wild Festival, I recorded a promotional video for the owners; Eamon and Róisín, who are as lovely as their food is delicious. My first day of filming with them took place on a Friday night which happened to be their first night doing a late opening, something which they are introducing to their regular business hours. Lit up by candles and low lighting, the café had turned into an atmospheric scene I could have straight out of the jazzy restaurants of the film La La Land. I was welcomed into the kitchen to film the creation of their nighttime menu and document the hard work and dedication that Eamon and Róisín put into each and every dish they create. Initially, this was the only date I was set to film on, however I was invited back to the café to record during their lunch hours. Tasked with the new plan to not only create a promotional video for the Comeragh’s Wild Festival, i.e nighttime dining, but to also to create a video that encompassed the varied dining experience that can be had at Eamo & Rò as a whole.
